Other Community Programs
This program is open to all members and community youth as a support group for children who have alcoholic parents. This program utilizes the Club as a host site.
This is available to all members and is a partnership with the UW-Extension 4-H program. During the school year, members have the chance to participate in crafts, cooking, movie-making, and many more fun and exciting activities.
In a partnership with the Department of Public Instruction, the Boys & Girls Club hosts their study skills program.
Big Brothers Big Sisters offers one-to-one mentoring relationships with adults for Boys & Girls Club members.
College preparation program for local high school students through the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. This program utilizes the Club as a host site.
Weekend Kid’s Meals
Members participating in this program are provided with nutritious meals to enjoy over the weekend. Feed My People delivers the free meals weekly for Boys & Girls Club members.
This program is outreach effort designed to monitor and track individual member’s progress in school and the community.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Chippewa Valley - Menomonie in partnership with the School District of Menomonie Area intend to submit an application to the Wisconsin Department of Education for a 21st CCLC grant. The grant will support an academic-focused after school program for students at River Heights Elementary.
