Stats & Facts from 2017! 

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley had a great year in 2017 by reaching out to those youth who need us most and providing a positive, productive and safe place for members!

These stats & facts come from the four Centers we serve in the communities of Black River Falls, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire & Menomonie.

 

  • 1,241 total Boys & Girls Club members
  • Over 3,447 additional youth served through special events and community initiatives
  • 1,039 members engaged in Club-based community service activities
  • 11,569 hours of homework and academic learning were completed at the Clubs, helping members be successful at school
  • 96,647 healthy meals and snacks served


Stats & Facts from 2016:

  • 1,241 total Boys & Girls Club members
  • Over 3,665 additional youth served through special events and community initiatives
  • 243 members on average attended the Club after school each day
  • 315 members on average attended the Summer Program daily
  • 91,309 healthy meals and snacks served

01/02/2019:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Chippewa Valley - Menomonie  in partnership with the School District of Menomonie Area intend to submit an application to the Wisconsin Department of Education for a 21st CCLC grant. The grant will support an academic-focused after school program for students at River Heights Elementary.  If you have any comments on the proposed program, please contact Roxie Schmidt at rschmidt@cvclubs.org or 715-233-2540.  A copy of the application will be available for public review after submittal at River Heights Elementary.
