The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley serve youth and teens from 2nd-grade to age 18. The Club strives to provide all kids with equitable opportunity and quality programs focused on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Offering trained staff who guide, coach, and motivate kids to be successful through delivering engaging programs and providing a safe, fun place for kids to grow and thrive is a priority for the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Our Mission
To inspire and enable all youth, especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Our Vision
Provide a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley believes that every kid has what it takes. The mission and core values of Boys & Girls Clubs fuel the commitment to promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all. The Club strives to be an organization where all members, staff, and volunteers feel safe, respected, understood, and included. We feel a special obligation to disenfranchised, underrepresented, minority, and underserved populations because of our mission.
We understand that to grow and thrive, individuals need an inclusive environment where they feel understood, valued, and accepted as unique people. We recognize this includes identity, including race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, disability, spiritual, and political beliefs.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative Vision
Our DEI Initiative will create structure and strategic focus to break down racism and inequity barriers for the youth, staff, volunteers, and families at the Club.
