The Arts
These programs are designed to foster creativity in our youth and give them outlets for self-expression. We offer members a wide variety of arts opportunities, including visual, performing, digital, and applied arts.
Art Program and Art Stewardship
This program is available to all members and encourages them to find their artistic creativity by drawing, painting, jewelry making, and other forms of art projects. Members can elect to have their creations highlighted and shared through the Club stewardship activities facilitated to thank and acknowledge Club donors for their continued support of the organization.
Drama Matters
This program focuses on providing all members with opportunities to practice other forms of artistic talent and communication in movies, plays, and acting.
Lyricism 101
This art program includes proven youth development practices and creative activities that build and expand our teens’ literacy skills while cultivating their creativity and critical thinking skills.
Music & Media Makers
The program exposes members to the tools and skills used to make music and videos. This entry-level program allows members to explore the technology used in entertainment and communication.
Education
These programs are designed to support academic success in school, to ensure all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for postsecondary education and a 21-st century career.
Career Launch
This is a premier career development program for ages 13-18. It provides a range of services to help club members develop the skills necessary for workforce success and making sound educational choices.
Club Tech
This program is available to all members helping youth and teens build computer skills with the following software: Design Tech, Digital Art Suite, Music & Movie Tech, Photo Tech, and Web Tech.
Club Tech-Robo Tech/Coding
This program introduces members to the skills needed in today’s high-demand fields such as coding and design. Middle and high school members are eligible to participate in this program, focusing on teaching them how to build and create their own robots and code video games.
Digital Literacy Essentials
This program offers engaging and exciting project experiences that provide members of all ability levels with a foundation of technology skills, exploring digital safety, privacy, digital presence, online communication, and the educational fun of retro gaming. Members participate in a learning community with other Club members through MY.FUTURE hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Diplomas to Degrees
This program encourages teens to make connections between their interests and their future career paths, plan and prepare to enter post-secondary education, and develop the social-emotional skills and attributes to succeed in their educational endeavors. Teens will overcome the college readiness gap and be prepared to succeed as they pursue post-secondary credentials for the modern workforce.
DIY STEM
This program focuses on providing middle and high school Club members with hands-on experiences in STEM-focused activities.
My.Future
This is a mobile-friendly social platform with access to over 125 Boys & Girls Club program activities in STEM, leadership, and the arts. Members can learn new skills, connect with their friends, and earn recognition and rewards in a safe and fun online environment.
Money Matters
This program is for Club members ages 12-18 and focuses on providing an opportunity for members to learn about the various ways to spend, save and use money.
Power Hour & Project Learn
These programs are part of our homework help initiative, available to all members Monday through Thursday. One-on-one and small group tutoring is available. If members do not have any school work to complete, they are encouraged to participate in other educational activities.
Reality Store
Teen members will have the opportunity to participate in programming that combines financial literacy with career exploration. The curriculum ends with an experiential event putting member knowledge to the test!
Stride Academy
All members are eligible for this academic online adaptive game program. This program quizzes members in math and reading and provides them with incentives when they do well and take their time answering questions.
Summer Learning Loss Prevention Initiative
In partnership with our local school districts, the Club provides an initiative focused on fun, educational, and enriching program activities to curb learning loss throughout the summer months.
Summer Brain Gain
A fun, interactive academic program designed for summer learning at the Club. Youth continue learning through STEM-focused activities, leisure reading, and more!
