Natalie joined the Altoona Boys & Girls Club in the fall of 2022, previously attending the Eau Claire and Menomonie Boys & Girls Club. The Club helped her develop self-confidence, as she initially hesitated to participate in activities or share her interests with others for fear of being judged. However, the Club provided a safe and supportive environment for her to explore her interests. Over time, Natalie became an active and enthusiastic member, participating in various programs and developing positive relationships with other members. She emerged as a leader, helping other members and demonstrating kindness, care, and respect. Her talent in the Artology program was particularly noticeable as she excelled in painting, drawing, and sculpture. Although Natalie has now moved on to middle school and left the Altoona Club, her impact on the Club and the Club’s impact on her will undoubtedly endure for years to come.
